How to join CAP

MEMBERSHIP INFO FOR CADETS: In order to become a cadet member of the CAP, you must be:

1. 12 years of age, or attending the 6^th grade

2. U.S. Citizen, or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence to the United States

3. Of good moral character

MEMBERSHIP INFO FOR SENIOR MEMBERS: In order to become a senior member of the CAP, you must be:

1. At least 18 years of age, or a member of the Armed Forces on active duty at any age

2. Be a U.S. citizen, or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence to the United States

3. Submit to a confidential screening by National Headquarters, CAP

***Reserve, National Guard, or Retired military personnel are welcomed and needed***

You can get involved in many ways with the CAP. Membership is not restricted to cadet and senior membership. There are other types of memberships available.
