Vote of the Month!

Now please don't panic over this, i am NOT selling out. I am simply interested in your views on this subject.
In recent times it has become the norm for many web sites to have to charge viewers to see the contect. This is because of the high cost of web hosting, the domain name registration, web masters, web designers, and many other reasons. This site uses the services of Geocities.com, as is probably apparent by the use of it in my web address. I am proud to be a member of Geocities, and don't try to hide this by using a redirectional url or anything. (At this moment I urge you all to click on an advert, so that Geocities remains free). However, I do see this URL as part of my problem of lack of traffic to this site. I can obviously register a site name, which costs money. Not much, granted, but money. The benefits of this would allow me to have an easier name for people to remember, more chance of them to return, and also the ability to use file extensions that Geocities refuses at present. These extensions are things such as .MP3, .ZIP and .EXE. The lack of MP3 support is one reason why my music page closed down. I understand the reasons why Geocities does not allow MP3 files, but the files I had were created by myself and others, where I owned the copyright, and I wanted to allow you, the user, to listen to these files. The same applies to my programs I write. I have no way to let you download them.
So, the vote this month is...

Should I register an URL at cost of money, or continue to use the free services?

Please give me your opinion!

Please tell me your Email Address:

1) Please enter your name
2) So, should I register a web address or not?

3) Here's the crunch - Tell me what you really think. Be honest, please.

Ok - I'm done with this page now..
