| 3) | Dress uniform. Dress uniforms are worn at special occasions like diplomatic receptions or change of command ceremonies. Introduced in 2374 (Stardate 51000). |
| 4) | Admiral's uniform. This is the uniform normally worn by flag officers. The belt buckle usually shows a Starfleet or Starfleet Command emblem. Introduced in 2374 (Stardate 51000). |
| 5) | Cadet uniform. This uniform is worn by cadets at Starfleet Academy. It includes a grey undershirt, while the shoulders show the department color. Introduced in 2375 (Stardate 52000). |
| 6) | Standard Extravehicular Work Garment (SEWG). The SEWG, also called environmental suit, is worn by Starfleet personnell engaged in extra-vehicular activity (EVA). Introduced in 2373 (Stardate 50500). |
