A 13 year old tries to take care of his mother who is sick and to prevent eviction. They end up trapped in their lanlords house. Which isn't that bad, except the landlords are murderous and a tweak insane.
I had SUCH high hopes for this movie...and it was a good movie until the end. The story was actually somewhat there (which sems rare in Wes's pictures). But I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed by the ending (as I think most were). That extra human touch was so not necessary. This is a fucking horror movie for crying out loud, not a video from the Julia Roberts Collection. Unless you are a masochist with a PhD in disappointment, I wouldn't recommend this film.
