A rather odious genie is released from the gemstone he's residing in. He seeks out a girl that he can grant three wishes so that he can rule the world.
I liked this movie because of the historical mythology behind it. Unfortunately, that is the best part of the story. The plot is good, but not overly memorable. The special efects are there, but like every Wes Craven story, they overpower the movie. Still, I think it rates a little better than the average horror movie on the skull scale simply because the idea was a good one...jut on that was carried through not as I would have liked.
