Certainly not your run of the mill horor movie, but it really could have been so much better. Whil I appreciate the use of humor in horror movies, sometimes it can go over the top. Such was the case in this one. Julian Sands, who brought everyone...well, ME anyway, the joy of seeing him as an arachnid expert in the film Arachnaphobia, plays a faboo role as a male witch from ancient times sent to collect pages from the Devil's Book. However, the role of 17th century witch hunter was stupid because they tried to make him funny. It just didn't work. But regardless still a good horror flick for the creativity.
