SYNOPSIS AND MY OPINION OF NORTH BY NORTHWEST

Cary Grant stars as Roger Thornhill, who is mistaken by a gang of criminals to be a government agent. He gets kidnapped by these characters and while dodging getting killed, Roger Thornhill tries to decipher what is going on with these characters (all the while getting himself in deep sh*t with the black market world). He meets a beautiful lady whom he can't sem to decide is his friend or foe. Lots of James Bondesque actions: (dodging police, narrowly missing airplanes, climbing tall skyscraperesque monuments, getting mixed up with the bad side of the criminal underground...things of that nature. Thoroughly delightful!). This is not "disturbing" as the other Hitchcock films and that's why it gets shorted a skull awauy from perfection in my rating. It is still superb in its own right, and its action-packed from the very beginning. Alfred Hitchcock has a small cameo in the film as well which makes it even more titillating. :) 1
