The Exorcist, 25th Anniversary DVD

I know I'm going to get bashed for only 3 skulls for this DVD,since 3/5 is only slightly better than average. Let me go over the good points about it. I liked the graphics on the menu. There was a lengthy documentary called FEAR OF GOD which was quite extensive. The extra ending scene was very interesting and the quality of the movie is the best version of the film I have scene. I just feel that with a movie that is arguably the best and most respected horror movie in modern history, possibly ever made....the DVD should have been something more special. I expected to see tv guest spots, production notes, outtakes, and maybe a "where are they now" sketch. The interviews they have on there are lame because they are the same interviews that are in the documentary. I felt they wouldn't have gone wrong going "all out" on this DVD...perhaps even making it a 2 disk set. With a movie with such a cult following as this i think quantity of extras would have far exceeded quality. Perhaps I'm being nitpicky, but I think this movie is far deserving of a DVD with extras that take up more time than the movie. While the documentary, etc. was great, most of the information was stuff I already knew. I just think rare tv footage, interviews, etc. would have added a lot to this DVD.
