Well apparently they didn't learn from the 1979 version of Dracula. In this movie, Vlad Dracula throws away his freedom for immortality so that he may avenge the death of his true lover. If that isn't horrible enough...he travels to the present time to recapture his lover. For the millionth time....DON'T MAKE CLASSIC HORROR MONSTERS TRAVEL INTO MODERN TIMES! It always flops because they look so out of place. If you want to modernize vampires, watch Anne Rice's Interview With the Vampire, damnit! She did it right! And worse of all, Christopher Atkins plays Dracula. Very badly actually.
