DRACULA (1974)<"skull.gif">

WHAT AN INTERESTING TWIST THIS MOVIE IS! Jack Palance plays the vampire king in this adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. That alone made it quite good! He's a person you'd never really think of to play the Count but he is absolutely rivetting in this movie. What I liked the most about this movie, is Palance brings vulnerability to the character: something that has never really been done before. While some may find this actually disturbing (and revolting), I found it to enhance the character ten-fold by showing the truly human qualities of him. Since this was originally made for tv, this movie is difficult to find. But well worth it if you can find it. Actually, I believe AMAZON.COM has it. 1
