If you happened to blink, you just may have missed out on ABC'S Saturday morning cartoon TALES FROM THE CRYPTKEEPER. Trying to keep up with the cartoon series of Beetlejuice and the ever growing Goosebumps book, Tales from the Cryptkeeper was a bunch of humorous and goulish tales surrounding our much more child like Crypt Keeper.
The cartoon WAS actually good (and provided us with a slew of new Tales from the crypt merchandise). And as a delight for us Tales from the Crypt Comic Book Fans out there, the series did bring in two of our favorite chacters, "The Vault Keeper" and "The Old Witch" who constantly bantered with the Crypt Keeper. I did actually watch this cartoon regularly because it was one of the better ones at the time. It ran two years and is currently off the air. It is well worth a view however because John Kassir (the voice of the REAL Crypt Keeper) resumes his role as the Keeper in the tv show, however it is harder and harder to find video versions.
