THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT DVD

Now, if you've been at this site for a while, you surely noticed that I have a whole page of my website devouted to this movie. So my feelings for this movie are quite clear. Combined with that and the success of this movie, I was extremely excited to buy this DVD when I got my DVD player. And I'm sad to say, I was sorely diasappointed. I didn't expect that the quality of the movie would improve seeing as it is the Super8ish quality of the film that makes the movie so good. But they could have compensated with good extras. The extras were crap. First of all, the Curse of the Blair Witch documentaryI already had because I bought the double VHS set when the movie was first released. The other extras were biographies and the Blair Witch legends that not only have I heard millions of times, but that I actually had to READ. I hate when they put pages of stories onto DVDs. If I wanted to read, I'd read a copy of Ivan Hoe instead of watching my DVD player. Ifyou want this movie, do yourself a favor and justbuy it on VHS. The quality is the same as the DVD and you'll save a few bucks.
