Summer: watching X-Files w/no lights on (w/a blankie and Pooh of ourse), Me maybe getting a pager, my family finally deciding to get a new cell phone, making mix tapes, my Cds (Gordon, Born on a Pirate Ship, Rock Spectacle, Forest Gump, Jerry Maguire, X-Files, and Garth Brooks) FINALLY coming (well missing Gordon for Abs and Maybe You Should Drive), my white hat!, finally getting new laces for my boots and being able to wear them since it was rainy, Skinner finally reopening the X-files (second season) on July 8th (11:00 PM) and 9th (8:00 Pm), finding really good deals at Gap; my white hat for $4.99 that I almost bought at 16.50 , red/navy shirt for 4.99 that I almost bought at 19.50, my khaki tank top that I got for 7.00, running w/Audy even though I hadn’t run in like forever, watching X-files twice a day, making my X-files episode guide, seeing Austin Powers twice (once w/friends and once w/dad), making cookies, being weird and writing down like all social events during the summer in my planner, seing Bugs, getting font happy at odd hours
BNL (Summer 1999): listening to BNL to the point where my dad knows the words, everytime Dad asks what CD I’m listening to I just glare at him and he knows its BNL, counting down to our Barenaked Summer’s Night (that’s what they call it on the website) on August 29th !!, owning all (almost) of the BNL cd’s, two of my favorites (Never is Engough, and the flag) being just weird (my dad and I like the part “you get you’re Ph.D. how happy you will be when you get a job at Wendy’s and are honored with employee of the month”), going from knowing the words to like one song to knowing practiclly all of them.
