Beast Wars Transformers aired in 1996 and quickly established itself firmly in Transformers history. The series was bold enough to introduce a new generation of characters while not forgetting previous continuities. With the goal in mind of being more than just a kid's show, Beast Wars Transformers set out to be a Science Fiction show that both children and adults could enjoy. To that end, it succeeded and led to the spin off series: Beast Machines.
