The Games of Saberhaven
Laereth vs. Motel
        The Aasimar fighter-psion comes out into the Arena. A determined fighter, he faces an equally tough opponent, the renegade Weaponsmaster Motel, a follower of the ways of Mephistopholes.
       Motel chrges across the battlefield to meet his opponent, but Laereth stays put, instead focusing his mental energies on the weaponsmaster.
        Motel moves quickly and closes the gap betweent he two. Laereth doesn't budge, and continues to foucs his mental energies while readying his sword in a defensive position.
       Motel moves in on the psion. His long sword gets knocked away but the Aasimar, but the plane walker isn't able to defend against the barrage of thrusts and strikes coming at him. He takes three jabs then finally the weaponsmaster swings his enchanted sword and chops through the arm of his opponent.
       Laereth's right arm falls to the ground with a plop and his stump bleeds freely.
       Near death, the Aasimar strikes out with his mind to the mind of the weaponsmaster. He succeeds in stunning the poor human, freezing him in his tracks, wide eyed and shocked.
       Laereth moves closer and runs the enchnted sword in his left hand through Motel, hacking at him until he's unconscious.
