Orellwyn vs. Mozalk
Orellwyn is such an elf. Known as the best archer ever to live, he spends his year in Rohan next to the greatest Arena champion to ever live, Val Urora. Orellwyn has been a companion of the notorious weaponsmaster for many years and the elf archer runs the bowyer/fletchering division of Aurora's Weapons and Armor as well as the archer training of the weaponsmaster of the Realm.
The crowd known him best for his acrobatic archery - flying upside down, blindfolded or even one handed - in the Arena combats. This season's first opponent is a powerful sohei ninja from Tokiwa-Dai, Mozalk. The ninja himself is known for creative martial arts and weapons skill, but few get close enough to Orellwyn to counteract his archery skills.
As the two are announced, Mozalk turns invisible. Faster than they eye can see, Orellwyn fires three arrows at the invisible foe. The master acrher aniticipates where the invisible man would be and sticks all three missiles in his opponent.
Staggard by the blows, Mozalk sprints away, out of harm's way. Orellwyn flies into the air with his winged boots, bow drawn of course. He's hit by a lightning bolt from the ninja, though the attack doesn't force the invisibility to give itself up.
Despite the siteless foe, Orellwyn calculates the position of Mozalk from the angle of the lightning bolt and fires. After the swoosh of the arrow produces the "thump" of the strike and the "thud" of the body hitting the ground, the crowd goes wild. The elf smiles and flies around taking mid-air bows to the appreciative crowd.
