The Games of Saberhaven
Jurak Snowaxe vs. Barbie
The two are announced and move into the arena, Jurak with his customary large rocks. The Iceling begins to heave them at the barbarian, but Barbie suddenly blends in with his surroundings.
The rock flies wide and the Iceling moves forward to try and root out his opponent.
Barbie makes the first strike, a blow Jurak is unable to parry. The Iceling gets his bearings and manages to parry the next blow, and pull the large man off balance. Barbie regains his balacne quickly and manages to dodge both incoming blows of the Iceling.
Running his sword dtraight up, Barbie tries to filet the Iceling, but stumbles instead. Jurak knocks the blow off to the side then knocks the man from his feet with another blow. Jurak seems to gain some measure of strength from the blow.
The two turn on their mightiest attack patterns, each landing blows and each gaining strength from their hits. Barbie manages to strike three times with his swords, while Jurak lands two blows.
The Iceling attempts to block the barbarian's blow, but the quick barbie is too much for the giant, sneaking the slash in beneath his defences.
Jurak returns his own pair of shots and manages to block one of Barbie's swings. Barbie tries to react quickly but stumbles and barely manages to regain his balance.
Trying to gain the upper hand, Jurak cops down on the barbarian. Barbie rolls away and Jurak tries to adjust, but only succeeds in spraining his ankle.
His opponent barely mobile, Barbie crashes four shots down on Jurak to end the combat.
