![]() The Games of Saberhaven Kraag vs. Lord Blix
|
One of the most anticipated of the first round matches, the battle between Romus Todd's manpion galdiator slave Kraag and the Duke of Hell on Earth Lord Blix finally begins. The crowd is used to seeing both competitors in quick battles, each dealing massive amounts of damage to their opponents. Most favor the follower of Mephistolpoles for his innately granted powers given by the dark one himself. Blix enters the Arena to great cheers, certainly one of the favorites in Group A. He glows a faint blue color, known to many veteran fans as the tell tale sign of a Fireshield. The manpion sunters in and screams a battle cry and the fight is on. The ever so tall human immediately teleports from his position at the end of the Arena to directly next to his opponent, swords drawn. Both man and manpion favor two shortswords. With a clash of steel, Lord Blix strikes first with his sword. Just as fast comes the counterattack, not from a sword, but from the poisonous tail of the scorpion-man. The tail strikes, but fails to register any poison upon Blix, protected as he seems to be by Stoneskin. Blix lands another shot to the manpion's open flank, seriously wounding the slave. Kraag returns with his own two blows, both swords glancing off the toughened skin of the assassin. The two trade shots again, Kraag still battling the stone-like skin of Blix, whiel the assassin seems to move with lightning speed. Raining down two more blows, Blix ends the encounter ever so quickly, knocking the manpion unconscious. Smiling a devious smile, Lord Blix wipes the Manpion's blood from his blades on Kraag himself and jumps up and down as the cheers flow from the auidience.
