Glub vs. Bruenor Battlehammer
Bruenor moves quickly into the Arena, faster than he seems he should, then as the two close, six magic missiles launch from the crown of the dwarf, all striking the half-orge.
Glub is angered and moves in close with his bastard sword and short sword both bared. He moves extra quick, magically quick, at the dwarf who holds forth his double edged battle axe.
The first swing from the shortsword looks like it's going to hit, but the half-ogre mis-judges the distacnce due to the dispalcement factor of the dwarf. Glub's longer sword shot lands on the breastbone of the dwarf.
The younger dwarf battles back with a fierce determination, striking out with his axe "Deathstriker", badly damaging the leg of his opponent while seeming to restore some of his own health.
The half-ogre manages to land a short sword shot and a bastard sword blow ot the chest, fighting through the pain of his numbed leg.
The weakened Bruenor retaliates with another terrible shot to the same leg of the half-ogre, knocking the half-ogre down, his leg incapacitated. meanwhile, the dwarf regains some of his lost health.
The dwarf has the half-ogre right where he wants him. He gets the jump his injured opponent, striking with his double edged axe to Glub's arm. Bruenor seems to gain even more strength from the hit.
Glub feels his left arm start to turn numb as he rebalances himself on one leg. He drops his bastard sword, but manages to slash out with his short sword. His attampt fails to land as he stumbles to defend himself.
Bruenor smashes the half-ogre across the back of the head with Deathstriker, knocking his opponent out for good.
As he loses consciousness, Glub mutters, "Damn dwarves."
