The Games of Saberhaven
Kushari Walkorn vs. Prince Kroobor

During the last cycle, Kushari was one of the Top 8 competitors, but was beat out by King Genktekkda of the thri-kreen and pushed back to the lower ranks. Determined to get back into the Top 8, Kushari has returned and now faces a tough new opponent, the half silver dragon from the far West, Prince Kroobor.
The draconic priest seems calm facing the arch-mage/ninja. His muscles glean under his silvery, scaled skin, and his hands launch into spell invoking mode as the doors open.
Similarly, the far-eastern arch-mage, his ten flaming images surrounding him, finishes a spell as the doors open. While Kroobor's has no visible effect, Kushari's spell lauches a storm of four huge flaming meteors at the half-breed, the effetcs of which are absorbed into Kroobor's magical protections.
The two turn again, Kushari summoning his Ki power and forcing ten magical missiles to fly at the dragon, while Kroobor summons his own ball of fire from his internal magical abilities. Both spellcasters reel from the imapct of the other's missiles. In less than the blink of an eye, a fireball appears form nowhere and stirkes out at Kroobor, gain absorbed by his protective energies.
Not seeking to close the gap, the half-dragon priest summons seven of his own magical missiles, though not as potent, and launches them againt the eastern mage. Kushari swiches away from magic, amd lobs an eggshell grenade at his opponent. The shell breaks open with a poisonous smoke eminating form it, but the half-dragon resists the gas and decides to charge forward with his flails drawn.
Kushari pull his L-shaped tonfa and takes a stance to meet the charge. Somewhat weakened, Kushari still manages to somersault and strike out twice with his weapons before Kroobor can attack. Both attacks miss their mark as the large dragonoid is more nimble than seems possible. Kroobor returns with his own double-headed flail and stikes the mage just twice before he falls to the ground amid cheers form the crowd.
The regal half-dragon raises his hands in victory and salutes the royal box before he walks out of the Arena.
