Ebrecus Koldar vs Ranknin Borgedder
        One of the favorites to move very far, Ebrecus Koldar, returns to the Arena to face the less-than-expected ranger, Ranknin Borgedder. The psi-gladaitor Ebrecus proudly steps forward into the Arena. He fires an arrow he ahs knocked in his bow, but it flies at no target at all when Ran disappears from his entry point and reappears about 8 feet left of the gladiator, swords drawn.
       A bit alarmed, and not expecting a psionic opponent, Ebrecus focuses his mental energy around him - to no visible effect - then draws his swords and engages the melee.
       Ebrecus moves quicker with his shorter swords, and he seems to be a much better fighter with his blades, catching the ranger with both blades. Upon both hits, a piece of clothing explodes on the two, engulfing them both in the small explosions.
       Ran returns his own heavy blow from his longsword and knife, then dodges the oncoming shots from the gladiator. Ran sees a vulnerable spot in Ebrecus' side and runs his sword through the spot, with a terible yelp from Ebrecus.
       A puzzled look comes over the ranger's face as he sees no blood drawn from the blade shots. Ebrecus seems extraordinarily focused and readying for another attack.
       The gladiator hacks in with a massive blow, focusing all his physical and mental energies into one shot. the reulting exposion upon connecting is astounding and gasps are heard all through the crowd.
       Ran falls to the ground unconscious as the uninjured Ebrecus takes a bow and strolls away.
