![]() The Games of Saberhaven Jerin Xalvix yi Et'rius vs. Sir SapphireTears
|
Here's an interesting match; an elven mage who seems to know some very rare magics versus a paladin who wears some very rare colors. Sir SapphireTears has been here for a few months and is ranked as a fairly decent
competitor while Jerin Xalvix yi Et'rius has only competed in two matches and
is thus hard to rate. He just hasn't fought enough for us to have a good idea
as to his abilities. The competitors enter the arena, sapphire colored knight and an imposing looking elf in deep blue clothes. The knight enters and says, "Your defeat today will get me closer to my enemies, so if you have good in your heart, stand aside!" The mage's reply is clear, "Stand on your skills warrior, I will stand on mine and to the better shall fall the victory." That having been said, Jerin flies, quick as a diving eagle, to a point in the center of the Arena, approximately one hundred feet in the air. Sir Sapphire Tears draws his trusty throwing daggers as his opponent zooms upward and looses them at the elf, both striking deeply and drawing blood. Jerin looks scornfully at the two lodged weapons and returns the favor as he sends a small white ball zipping towards the paladin. It strikes ten feet in front of the knight, exploding into a blizzard of ice shards and snow which engulfs the paladin. When it settles, the warrior's armor is covered in a rime of ice and he looks injured, wavering on his feet. The hovering mage looks the wounded paladin in the eyes and sends an arc of electrical energy flashing between them. Just when it looks like the fight is over, the paladin's sword resists the strike and the spell fizzles just short of Sir Tears. The knight then disappears from view. A fraction of a second later, a granite block, several cubic feet in size, streaks from the outstretched hand of the elf, crashing into something with like a charging dragon. From the mess and spread out pile of crushed swords, sapphire colored armor and stone fragments, one can assume that the ring of invisibility was not the only thing destroyed by the force of onrushing stone. Very little remains of the tragic Sir SapphireTears. He is now with his loved one, who's cause he served.
