The Games of Saberhaven
Saggratoph vs. Ebb

From the south door steps Ebb with a flourish of his cloak. This muscular man is well-clad in a fine tunic and leggings, and his mandolin hangs on a strap around his neck and shoulder. He begins to play a quick tune on his instrument.
From the north door, meanwhile, comes Saggratoph, armed with swords and hammer and clad in plate mail. The dwarf strides forward into the center of the Arena, but he is not even a third of the way across before Ebb disappears from view. Saggratoph stares for a moment at the spot where Ebb had been, then notices a glimmer of movement, then is able to make out the bard's form. He continues his way across the Arena, and Ebb stands still, apparently trying to determine whether or not the dwarf can see him.
Saggratoph charges the bard, now fully able to see him. Seeing the direct charge at him, Ebb decides his invisibility is for naught and continues to play his music. Soon he lifts into the air, about ten feet off the ground.
The dwarf runs up under where the bard is flying. He activates his wings of flying and flies up to meet the bard in mid-air. The bard pulls his scimitars and readies for the attack.
The brazen dwarf replies with his own short sword attacks. The two fly at each other, Saggratoph ducking under the scimitars of Ebb then countering with his own swing.
Ebb takes his time and returns with another quick slice, this one finding its mark. The dwarf again jabs the gut of his opponent with his sword.
Saggratoph slices forward into the bard, more than a match for the evil human. His sword bites into the bard twice. He dodges the unskilled blows of the bard. Ebb curses the dwarf as he swings.
Coming back once again, Saggratoph finds his opponent's flesh with a blow, dodges a strike from Ebb and crashes down with a finishing blow which knocks the evil bastard out.
The dwarves of the crowd go wild, cheering for their countyman who's won the day. Saggratoph takes a bow and slowly flies off the battle field.
