| This film has taken a lot of stick for having such a simple plot and basic characters. To these people I say 'So?'. This film is a veritable blast-fest, and I challenge anyone not to be swept along by the weight of this film's enthusiasm. It's got everything: big ships, slimy aliens, and some excellent action sequences. As for the character interaction, I thought it was quite good. The script never tries to aspire to something greater, it sticks with tried and tested situations. And they work very well. | ||
