This is based on Albrecht Durer's famous Rhinocerous print. I reinterperated the image, and printed it on wrappers from Taco Bell. I like the idea of printing on something ephemeral, like a taco wrapper. It is something we see, use, and throw away every day, without noticing.
This print was done on wrappers from tacos and burritos from Taco Bell, as well as their paper placemats. It was done with oil-based Daniel Smith ink and hand-printed on a press.
This is an open edition right now. The print above is done on a taco wrapper. There are prints available.
