I just recently picked up a Nintendo Game Boy. I didn't think I'd ever want one of 'em but I decided that it'd be a cool game system to take with me to kill hours spent waiting. I picked up my classic GB used for $10 and FZero for the SNES. I got the GB and two games so I think that I got a pretty good deal. The GB was beat when I got it. Very dirty and the clear plastic screen was scratched to the point of making it pretty difficult to play any game. Thanks to a great solvent called "Super Clean," some super glue, and a small piece of glass, I have a pretty nice little GB. Since people seem to be more
concerned about what system their playing instead of what games I've been able to pick up
great games for the GB and another GB for next to nothing. |

| Pokemon RED | Pokemon, known as Pocket Monsters in Japan, is a very addictive game. You catch Pokemon and then train them in battle with wild pokemon and against other pokemom that are owned by other trainers. More than 100 pokemon in all but you cannot get all of them in just one cart. You have to trade with someone that has the other Pokemon game, BLUE in my case. You can also link to another Game Boy and do battles head to head. |
| Final Fantasy: Legend II | A rather difficult cart to find. FFL2 is your traditional overhead RPG with turn based combat. This title is a bit heavy on the combat aspects of an RPG though. I just wish that there was more story to it. A good game nevertheless. |
| Tetris | The classic Russian block game. You know what it is... I mean even grandmothers know what Tetris is. :) |
| Dr. Mario | Another puzzle game. Dual colored pills drop from the top and you have to line up four or more of the same color to get rid of viri. Addictive and great for killing time. |
| Super RC Pro-Am | RC car racing on Game Boy. Many different tracks and cars. Can be linked to another Game Boy for head to head racing for up to four people. |
| Super Mario Land II | Another Mario platformer. More jumping and bumping... |
| Nemesis | A side scrolling shooter. Pick up powerups and blast the baddies. |
