SWRPG AD&D TRINITY VAMPIRE OTHERS PERSONAL HOME DISCLAIMER

Now you've stopped dreaming, a bit of socio-political background

Your homeland:

A large continent composed of several (mainly) peaceful nations. Most are, organised along (basically) feudal lines. Monsters of a supernatural Kind are very rare. Goblinoids, etc. much less so, although large, groups are usually attacked and dispersed or massacred. They are viewed as a menace, by most. The, appearance of a dragon/wyvern/tarrasque, would surprise and terrify (almost like, a UFO but perhaps not quite, so unexpected - they believe, in them, they’ve just never seen them). There are occasional wars, the most recent of which may or may not have affected you depending on where you live (this you can decide). Talk to me about where you come, from - choose a medieval European equivalent or make, up your own nation. The boat set off from the, equivalent of France, so Albion (Britain), the Holy Roman Empire, Arragon, etc. are all legitimate choices. In some, ways the continent is like, early 13th century Europe, but is less regimented there are places that no country claims. It is bigger, too. Anyway, it will be,come, fleshed out through your own descriptions and through adventures that take place there.

Religion:

Gods -

In current teaching there are five main Gods roughly corresponding to humans (good), humans (evil), Goblinoids, Elves and Dwarves. This is, however, a highly simplified view of the cosmos, there are elves who offer devotion to Satan or Yahweh; orcs offer as much worship to Anat (Baal's sister and lover) as they do to Baal. The teaching of Prefect Innocent III (Current ‘Pope’) is that God is the, Almighty, Lucifer Ultimate Evil and the three other main Gods the only other Gods (other divine beings being angels and demons mistakenly taken as Gods). The more radical Churches (such as those found in the, New World) claim that Yahweh is the only God and Lucifer the only force that could ever challenge Him. Magic (to some, degree (1st/2nd level spells)) is found with relative frequency among the, faithful of all religions, but more than that is rare. Some claim that more magic than this is beyond 'lesser' Gods or demons posing as Gods.
