This is the story of Number 6, a resigned secret agent. Upon his resignation, he was kidnapped by unknown assailants and taken
to "the village", a place where no one is referred to by name, only by number. Number 6 is questioned by the head of the village, Number 2,
about his resignation. There appear to be people trying to pressure Number 6 to his breaking point, but Number 6 has other plans, he uses his
wits to fight back. His only motivation is the hope of escape, which has never succeeded for very long.
