Physical Description: Murdoc is of average height, has brown hair and green eyes. He usually wears a grey shirt with brown pants and Jedi robes over all. He has a rugged, outdoors feel to him, and currently sports a well-trimmed goatee.
Background: Born on Setar, He spent his adolescence with a Kefarian smuggler and his twin brother, Maxlom (Max). There he learned the skills needed to become one of the best smugglers ever. While sharpening his skills as a deadeye gunner, and crackshot pilot, 'Doc, as he is affectionately referred to, learned about the Rebellion and the Empire, and eventually the force. He and Max joined the Rebellion.
While on Tatooine, 'Doc lost his left leg and Max met a beautiful young woman. They fell in love. Unfortunately, Max's new 'friend' was an Imperial agent. Max shortly thereafter disappeared to join the Empire. Devastated by his brother's sudden change, 'Doc swore he would find his brother, and bring him back.
He flew around the galaxy with friends such as Arthur Ginch, Compton Taresh, and others. While captive on a star destroyer, 'Doc met Smetsys Lortnoc, another prisoner. She was also Setarian, but not human. She was a native Tikahn. Murdoc married Smetsys shortly after. Smetsys joined the group, and in the untimely death of their leader, She took command. She is
currently a major in the Rebellion.
Eventually, Murdoc and Smetsys had a daughter, Rena. Through sensing Rena's life force in Smetsys, he realized he could tap into the Force. He then tracked down Compton Taresh, who then took him under his wing as his first student of the Force.
Approximately a year later, Murdoc heard that his father had been kidnapped by Darth Vader, possibly to draw him to the dark side as well. 'Doc chased Vader to Yavin 4, where he fought Vader in a Lightsaber Duel. Hopelessly outmatched, 'Doc was shortly joined by his friend, Arthur Ginch, and his daughter, Rena Ailac.
The three fought Vader, but Vader became uncontrollably agressive. To stay any longer would mean certain doom. Murdoc, not wanting to see those closest to him die, created a distraction long enough for his friend and his daughter to escape.
Preparing to die, Murdoc brought his lightsaber up to fight Vader. Vader brought his Lightsaber down on Murdoc, but the blade stopped millimeters from his face. Compton Taresh had appeared and saved his life.
Vader, having great respect for Taresh, backed down and returned Murdoc's father.
Personality: Murdoc is confident and smart. He also has a very kind, patient, fatherly feel to him. He will sacrifice himself for his loved ones, if necessary.
