Kiboor

These small herbivores of Gtuhrus 3 have become a highly popular pet among spacers. Around half a meter in length, and usually fairly round in build, the Kiboor are covered with a thick layer of luxuriant, silky fur, that changes color with the mood of the creature. They have a long, thin and flexible snout-like mouth, designed to allow them access to the nectar that is their preferred food. The Kiboor have four legs, and four small, six digit hands that are capable of a remarkable array of delicate manipulations. They are very affectionate creatures, and are prone to mischief, using their climbing abilities, flexible snout, and manipulative hands to investigate things that really need to be left alone, like polarization circuits, and hyperdrive connection units. The Kiboor's respiration system is the reverse of that of humans, breathing in CO2, and exhaling O2.

The Kiboor see by echolocation, as their primary predator has become functionally invisible over the years, due it's supremely well designed camouflage, and they therefore can see virtually all hidden creatures, (+2D+2 to difficulty for hiding from a Kiboor). They are very intelligent, and can be trained to "point" at creatures or individuals attempting to hide. Kiboor are also very sensitive to heat or pressure changes, and will do their best to make their masters aware of those upsetting changes.

The Kiboor are a fairly social creature, generally living in small groups of 8-12 in the wild. They are a live bearing species, with a gestation period of just over three standard months. Highly emotional creatures in many ways, the Kiboor may be partially empathic, tending to take an initial dislike to untrustworthy individuals, while being particularly friendly to good individuals, especially force users.
