Item Duplication
You can copy weapons & shields in Final Fantasy IV with this easy trick!
Go into battle - go to the Item command. Scroll down until you find
an open space, click once. Next, take the cursor up until you reach the
current characters weapons (up to the top, then one more up.) Next, click
the weapon or shield to duplicate. Now hit the B button (cancel) and
make the character Parry. Now finish off the battle. Once you are back
in the world view, go to Equip and equip the character's weapon you
just copied. Look - now there's two! Now just unequip and equip again and
you're all set!
