Final Fantasy IV is the same game as Final Fantasy II in the U.S. If you don't
know why there is a change in the name and what to know, you can surf the net

The game itself is set in a Fantasy World, just as the name would imply. The main
character is Cecil. You will follow him through the story and he will never leave
your party. When you start, you see a group of 5 airships flying towards a town
called Mysidia, a town of Wizards white and black. Your mission: To retrieve the
crystal that the King of Baron finds to be too advanced and powerful for them, a
crystal that must be left in his care. You return with an unsatisfied crew and
a bad feeling. The story continues to twist and turn down roads of betrayal,
evil, and love.
The outlay of the game is a 2D top view scroller. The battles are random and
on a side view. You get a hovercraft, two airships and something called the
big whale (it's basically a space ship.) It's fun for everyone!
