SEASON FIVE

Redux
(Part 2 of 3)
Okay. Give me a second to breeth. (I stoped after they found out it was water.) Skinner is such a @$$. I wished Scully would have smacked him. You know that if Pendral was alive the tests would be ready on time. I liked how this ep showed what Mulder was doing, while he was supposed to be dead. What bothered me a little was all the voice overs. But they added to it. And then with the flash backs, not only to the show but to other things. It was very educational to see how they tied the times of the world to what they were doing. The funniest part (yes I thought there was one) was when Scully gets home and starts to undress. Mulder tells her to keep going. But when Skinner catches her at the end I feel there is something more there. Did she incriminate him at the end? It sounded like she said 'YOU'. And Cancerman? Is he Mulder's Father? Is Scully going to live? Is the truth going to come out about Mulder??? To be answered next week in . . .

Redux II
3 of 3
I have a lot of issues (heather) with this episode. Number one. Well whose going to be the bad guy we all hate now?? Why did they kill Cancerman? And why Blevins? I mean that surprised me that it was Blevins. Why does Chris feel the need to kill two people at a time? Mellisa Scully and Bill Mulder, Pendral and Max Fenig, and now Blevins and Cancerman? I must admit that I thought it was Skinner too. Next issue. Bill Scully. That guy just pisses me off. I wish Mulder would have punched him out. Anyone want to write that fanfic??? (My Challange!) He is never around except to berate Mulder. He has no clue or right to say anything. Issue Three. Samantha. Is Cancerman Samantha's father? Is he also Mulder's? Will we see Samantha again? Is that the real Samantha? And Finally Mulder and Scully's realtionship. WOW!!! Did anyone wlse see the UST level hit 10.13??? I hope all you little shipper's have started to breath again after the hospital scene. The scene that got me the most was when Mulder goes into Scully's room at night and cries. He looks really weird when he cries. And that whole last scene with Mulder outside Scully's room. It was also emotional. If you want to know more e me!!!

Usual Suspects
Not a bad episode, but not one of my favorites. First off it didn't tie into anything. It could have tied in very eaisily. If in the beginning we see a small party at the Lone Gunmen headquaters to celebrate Scully's remission. She asks them how they all met. And then we can go into the story. That's the only way, because next week we have Scully running around again with Mulder. Richard Belzer was good. Byers and Mulder look so different. And it was probably a nice break for David to play someone who isn't paranoid. And of course there was the little MulderTorture scene that was wonderful. Don't forget the names now. Melvin Frohicke, John Fitzgerald Byers, and Ringo Langley.

Detour:
A great Episode. This ep reminds me of Darkness Falls and Quagmire. At least in the beginning. SHIPPER ALERT!!! Did anyone else see that foreplay?? And the veiw by the creature reminds me a lot of the veiw of the alien in Fallen Angel. But that whole repetoir between M and S is amazing. Chris is starting to see that they are able to comunicate so well without words. Maybe Scully shouldn't sing!! The way that they acted together in this ep was amazing I'm thinking that the cancer thing has made both Mulder and Scully realize how important they are to each other. And it was a great scare. Right up there with Tooms and The Host. I think Chris Carter has decided to get back to basics and show the world how the X-Files started.

Post Modern Prometheius:
I really don't know what to feel. It was comical. More Funny than Scarry. It reminded me a lot of the Simpsons X-Files Ep. I liked the refrences to Frankenstein. A great book. I highly recomend it. The camara work was also great. Chris did a great job directing although the writing I wasn't too impressed though. They mentioned Jerry Springer about five times. And was that really Cher at the end?? What is Chris doing? Anyone who wants to be on the show can be?? I kind of thought that Mulder was going to start singing. It couldn't be worse than Gillian singing. And for all the little shippers THEY DANCED!!!!! The song that should be going through all your heads is When we Dance by: Sting. A great song. It will be added. Next week looks good too. But not much Mulder!!!!

Christmas Carol:
Wow!! I really liked this ep. It was a good story. But what do you expect from Vince, Frank, and John. Okay so there wasn't enough Mulder, but it was still good. My feelings for Bill are the same, I HATE HIM!!! Can we bring Krychek back to kill him, PLEASE!!! Why does he hate Fox?? By the way what was with the hat Mulder was wearing. I really think that Scully should be able to adopt the kid. I mean it is her's. I know people out there aren't going to like this ep because it was very personal. But it's nice to see that they have lives too. There was an X-File but it looks like it won't be resolved till next week. Next weeks looks good though!!!

Emily:
My Damn tape stoped in the middle of the ep. Alright I liked the episode. I wanted the kid to live but knew it wasn't going to happen. But I liked how it dealt with the conspirisy plot line. And with Mulder finding the fetus, I sence being attacked by clones of Emily instead of Samantha all the time. At the end when they are standing by the coffin was intresting. I never thought that Scully was going to look. But I did know that there was going to be no body. It was obvious, but when Mulder turned around and was biting his lip. My breath caught. It was very poetic how there was nothing left but the cross. Okay back to bill scully (see I don;t even capitilize his name.) Did you see the look he gave Mulder. And we have some confesstions of love. The most potent for me was when she tells her mom she'll get a ride back with Mulder. And then the great Mr. Potato head look. I bet that he is going to use that when he has kids

Kitsunigari
A pretty decent episode. My biggest problem with it though was Skinner. It was his attitude, that shocked me. First it was with the woman, the sister. He seemed too eager to help. The there was the last scene. That totally blew my mind. When did they become friends? I mean the reason for it is that he was also tricked by Modell and feels a connection to Mulder. there were two things I didn't like though. One. Scully's attitude. I mean I understand it, but she seemed outright rude to him. And the second was the kind of ememy that they brought back. I mean we left Modell practically dead. There are other evils that they could have brought back. This isn't Star Trek, where they can bring ANYONE back from the dead. If you could, I want Tooms back.

Schizogeny:
It was the PSYCHOlogist!! I knew that it was her from about half way through the ep. But I liked this a lot. Scary, and creepy. I never did trust those kind of people. Just a few things that need clarifing. 1. How come Scully went to talk to the suspect while Mulder went to the morgue?? Isn't Scully the pathologist?? 2. Why were they called out? I mean there didn't seem to be much police activity in the ep. 3. If you watch closly you can tell that Mulder said Dickweed when talking about Bobby, not dorkweed as it comes out. They can't say dick??? Who else was waiting for Mulder to do a Tarzan impersination???

Chinga
The story line was stupid. Didn't really care for it. The best part were the phone calls between Scully and Mulder. This episode was Scully's WAR OF THE COPROPHAGES. Her turn to try at a vacation. Also hints of NEVER AGAIN here. One thing that I thought was creative writing was the fact that Scully said she wanted to get out of her head. So she is the one with the supernatural ideas, while Mulder was going the scientific method. I expected more from Stephen King. And that's the bottom line

Kill Switch
I loved this episode. It reminded me a lot of season one. The scare factor, the Scully eye rolls. It was really good. The Mulder Torture part was excelent. Then Scully coming to save him. I just loved the way he kicked her. It was like a dream come true. Do you think that they were trying to tell us to get off the internet? Maybe pick up a book? Stop with all the webpages and fanfic? Again David did great panicing when he lost his arms. There is so much I loved that I can go on forever. But like I said, I loved this episode, and hope there are more like it in the future.

Bad Blood
Let me stop laughing!! okay, much better now. Anyone want pizza?? I loved this episode. It was hyseterlical. From the magic fingers to Mulder singing Shaft. It was very Jose Chungish. And it was very cute how they see the other in their eyes. I didn't like that fact that they both have Scully infatuated with the sheriff. But a great episode. Why did Mulder leave Scully alone? My theory is that Mulder wanted to let her see that he was the better choice for her. But otherwise a great episode. I really like this season so far. I say that this is the year of the shipper.

Patient X
Oh my god oh my god oh my god ohmygod ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!!!! Okay I feel better, just a little. What is Chris eating and feeding his writers. What ever it is...KEEP IT UP!!!!! This was very role reversal. Where Scully believes and Mulder doesn't. It all started during GETHSEMANE. After that episode, and bills little tirade to Mulder during REDUX II, and PMP, where he says that he doesn't know if he beleives that anymore. The chemestry was great between Mulder and Scully. You can tell that Scully feels bad that Mulder lost all he belives in. And Krychek...What side is he on? And I love the way that he Marita went at it against the wall. GO ALEX!!! Oh here is a theory for all those that care. The guy behind all the mass killings...CSM, he is also working with Krychek. And next week...What did Scully say?? Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god!!!

The Red and the Black
Oh My God! now that I got that out of the way. What a great Ep. I really loved it. I just wish my tape didn't run out in the middle and the people in my room where quiet. But otherwise. Amazing. Of coursev I loved Scully's little orgasm she had while recalling what was happening. I think it spoke volumes when Mulder took her hand. The other part that I though was amazing between the two of them is when she takes his hand away from his face. It's so nice to have them back to their old selves again. I really thought that the letter was to Fox, not Spender. But I knew it was CSM who was writing it. There were two standing ovations in my room. One was at the end when we see CSM's face. And then when Marita died. Maybe we can get another informant like Deep Throat or Mr. X. Send in the clones!! Oh...and who says there is no homosexuality in the X-files. There was definatly some UST between Krycek and Mulder. That's it for now...(so long for a new ep :-(

Travelers
An okay episode. Not one f my favorites that's for sure. But there were someintresting facts that were brought up here. One was why they were filed under "X" if they are unsolved. I guess the logical explanation was that they ran out of room under "U" Did you notice that there was a Red head there? I thought it was intresting, but was it Bill Mulder that was speaking to her. I thought it was the other guy. Did anyone else see the gold band on Dave's finger? Was the first thing I noticed. One other thing that I think needs mentioning was that it reminded me of 2SHY! Was this case made reference too during that ep? Got watch it again. The main reason I didn't like it was the same main reason I didn't like UNUSUAL SUSPECTS. It was just throuwn in there. We see the year as 1990 and then we are sent back in time. Now we just need and ep from 1991 and then we have cases from 89-till today. Oh and did Fox Mulder smoke? I thought he did for a second but I was kinda out of it when watching the ep.

Minds Eye
Hmmm. I liked it. It was good. It seemed to return to the X-Files of old. It tried to be Darin Morganish. Some witty humor, or at least tried. But I liked it a lot. The character of Marty, was portrayed and developed very well. There were some really predictable jokes. Especially the glove and O.J. Simpson jokes. Also intresting was the connection between Mulder and the girl. There was some real chemestry there. I think I'd like to see that developed more in maybe fanfic or possibly another episode in the future. It can't be much worse then what they did to KITSUNIGARI (Pusher 2)!!!

All Souls
A very religous episode in my eyes. I liked it, but felt it belonged more on MILLENIUM, as opposed to this show. Basically because of the religon. But it followed the law that when it comes to religion, Scully believes and Mulder doesn't. Although I liked her approch to get him to help her. Kinda sneaky. The way he normally works. And the fact that Emily was seen again, was intresting. It kinda helped. I mean we we have the episode EMILY, where she dies. The next episode Scully seems over the fact that she died. We all know that Scully is not an 'Ice Queen'. It was reasurring to know that she still had feelings for her daughter. Again, I think I liked it because it was intresting. Oh, little UST moment, when Mulder put his arm on her shoulder wher she tells him about seeing Emily.

Pine Bluff Varient
Ahhh! nothing like a classic Governtment cover-up X-File episode. This had everything going for it. The fact that Scully doesn't trust Mulder. Us a little confused at what is happening. Scully trying to get the truth out of Mulder and him deflecting. Scully standing up for Mulder, worried about her. Scully in both doctor and feild agent mode. Mulder Torture. No conclusive ending. This is why I fell in love with the show in the first place. Along with a virus that the good guys can't figure out and the bad guys aren't telling about. Did anyone else feel Mulder's pain as his figure was broken? And can we forget all of Mulder's witty reprotoir? Now this one is on my top 100 episodes of all time. (I'm sorry)

Folie A Duex
Vince Rules!!! Who says that he fell off the shipper wagon?? There were the hands on the arm...looks in the eyes...and "you are my one in five billion"!!!! Besides the shippiness of it all there was the scare factor. The demon looked great, scarry. I loved it and the vampire. The clincher would have to be that Scully saw the zombie too. My little fanfic mind was running nuts at the restraints that Mulder were in. And of course there was the Skinner aspect. Number one...he was wearing a blue shirt. Not his normal white one. And it was STRIPED. Skinner becoming human?? and the whole begining. Mulder is Monster boy. With his side kick logic girl!!!! The new superheros!! And the way Skinner was talking to Mulder almost father like. And then handeling Mulder when he kind of went off the deep end, was amazing. This was just like TOOMS and SQUEEZE. Even Scully hiding some of the truth at the end of the episode to Skinner, was pure and wonderful, UST!!!!! I love the X-Files!!! Ü Ü

The End
I had mixed feelings to this episode. Let me start at the beginning. AT first we have Krycek come parachuting in to bring CSM back. When Alex says that he came to bring CSM back he said it Haltingly. I felt that he didn't want to be doing this. And this only to get on the inside of the oragnization. Then we have Skinner looking around Mulders office and Mulder come's in. They have some witty reprotior where Skinner lets us know that HE doesn't like Spender. He fist calls him "this kid Jeffery spender, Agent Spender." With a smile on his face he tells Mulder how he isn't wanted on the case. Mulder smiles back and it's instant comunication that "Yeah, let's go ruin Spenders party!" That whole little scene there reeked of slash from Skinner and Mulder. Upstairs at the meeting, Scully givs him an odd look as he walks in, and even asks him what's he doing here. Mulder then makes waves by asking Spender to turn the tape back. After putting up a fight and a few words from the AD Spender does what is asked. And in a few momemnts we see Mulder is right and Spender was wrong. It was intresting that he went about this the right way. Through out the whole episode he is suprisingly doing things by the book. It is now that I meet up with my main problem. Diana Fowley. My problem with her is that she wasn't developed enough for my taste. We get told a few things about her, and Mulder, but nothing really. I wanted to know were they married, as an explination for the ring. did they part on good or bad terms. The Jelousy was good between Scully and Fowley, but like I said her character was underdeveloped. Unless they tell us a little in the movie. My other problem was with Krycek driving. How did he get the job of shofer. Wasn't he the one who just tried to ruin their plans? And is he able to park in a handicaped parking space? The rest of the episode was okay. When CSM tells Spender that he is his father is was too Star Wars for me. I know what other way could it have been done, but still. I was sitting on my couch saying "No. It isn't true." In that whiney Luke Skywalker voice. I loved the fact that CSM saved Samantha's file from the office. Also the prison guard refered to Spender as "your squeeky friend" Who reads the internet???? Now The End! I thought it was the perfect MOVIE ending. Mulder is standing there frozen, and Scully looks around the office a little. She then walks back to him and grabs his biceps, and puts her head on his chest. Both being comfoted by him and giving comfort. The reason for not putting her arms around him in a hug. It was amusing for Scully being the one to show the emotion and not Mulder. Then the camara pulls away, as if rising to the sky, showing Mulder's back. The music builds the further we get from it. And we have the red and blue flashing lights reflecting off the walls. I think that if the movie started with that shot again it would be perfect.
