| This website was created in memory of my beautiful son Skyler, who died of pulmonary hypertension. Skyler was born with down syndrome and a heart defect. We want to help other families who need information on Down Syndrome, Heart defects, Pulmonary Hypertension and other diseases and disorders. When we needed this information we didn't have one place like this to find it. We hope this site helps many families in need. The following pages are Skyler's story. I am sharing my personal poems I have written along with some treasured photos of Skyler. There are also links to support groups I recommend highly from personal experience. I have also included a list of books I have read and found helpful. They are both medical help and spiritual help. We hope you enjoy this special place we have created in memory of Skyler.
