In Memory of Sarah

Oct. 21, 1980--Oct. 24, 1997

I met Sarah at band practice our freshman year. Right away we became the closest friends. We just seem to think alike... and we became what we liked to call "Twins". I have many fond memories of Sarah... to doing the electric slide to attract lightning bugs (try it... it really works!) to getting ready for prom. From trips to Atlanta, Tennessee, Savannah, and Busch Gardens.... to trips to the lake for picnics & to the movies. Sarah was truly a "Great" person. That was her favorite word and she used it often. She was what I considered to be a "kindred spirit." (Like in Anne of Green Gables). It has been 3 years since Sarah died, but still she holds a special place in my heart, and there is hardly a day that goes by that i do not think about her.
