Dorset Fire Brigade is "tooling" up for this with advertisements for new staff to work on this project where eventually all emergency services will be on the same digital "virtual private radio network" implemented with the TETRA digital trunked radio protocol. A pdf copy of the recent advert has been posted in alt.binaries.radio-scanner under the same title as this post. I would be interested to receive email reports of any active PSRCP Tetra channels in the UK. These channels are between 380 to 400 megs.
