EMS

911 calls for EMS are answered by 1 fire unit + 1 police unit + private ambulance units. AMR supplies 1 ALS ambulance + 1 BLS ambulance for city service. Medic 1 is the ALS unit which is staffed by 2 paramedics and operates from Fire HQ. Ambulance 1 is the BLS unit that is operated by 2 EMTs from Fire HQ. (Or maybe they hang out at PD HQ next doors).

On EMS calls, the fire and EMS units operate on Channel 4 on the FD radio system which is 153.875. Some calls just get Rescue 1, some calls get Rescue 1 + Medic 1.
