Dispatch Operations - Boxes are not beeped over the radio. No paging system is used on the FD radio channel. The mobile status units have been taken out of all the rigs. Stations are dispatched via telephone/vocalalarm or via telegraphic bell system. All calls are announced by the dispatchers.
